2018 Annual Departmental Picnic

Dear Immunologists,

As the summer comes to a close, it's time for our Annual Departmental Picnic at Toronto Centre Island. Come join us for food, friends and festivities on Wednesday, August 22nd!

Location: Toronto Centre Island (Lot 10)

Date and Time: Wednesday Aug 22, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

We’ll have plenty of burgers, hotdogs, and love to go around (with vegan options), and it will be a great chance to explore the Islands with friends and family.


Note: You will have to arrange your own transportation to island (adult return ticket is $7.87).

We hope to see all of you there! Spread the word and let your lab/friends/families know!

The Immunology Graduate Students Association (IGSA) is a student-run organization within the Department of Immunology that has one goal: to enhance your graduate school experience. Through social events, intramural sports, the annual departmental holiday party, and retreat, we aim to make your graduate school career memorable and, more importantly, fun! The association is composed of individuals who represent the graduate students in the department in various university organizations such as CUPE and the GSU. Others serve to organize Let's Talk Science events, Blackboard Immunology, and Easton Meet the Speaker lunches. The executive members attempt to bridge the physical distance between labs within the department and provide sometimes much needed advice regarding student life-related issues to incoming and current students.
